No Practice Monday (for swimmers)
As a mental health day, we'll be giving our swimmers the day off. Please make sure they take the extra time to get their homework done, get a healthy meal and get some rest and down time.

Freshman/Sophomore Invite
Our youthful team stands to do really well at our the freshman/sophomore invitational meet this year. We're looking forward to a strong showing. I realize this is homecoming for both Kenowa Hills and Grandville and we have many swimmers/divers who will be attending the dance on Saturday. Please make sure that your hair appointments and dinner reservations are made for after 4:30PM to be safe. The meet will start at 12:30 and will likely go until about 3:30 or 4:00PM in Rockford. Swimmers/divers who dont attend the meet because of homecoming festivities may be penalized by sitting out the next meet with the possibility of losing your varsity letter. While I hope you all enjoy the homecoming festivities including the dance, please remember that you need to fulfill your responsibilities to the team first.

State of the Season
With two great meets vs. Rockford and one of our conference rivals Jenison we've seen 4 state cuts, 2 Regional Diving qualifiers and 13 MISCA cuts. Our girls have been swimming and diving strong in practices and in meets. As a coaching staff we're very impressed with how much our girls have stepped up to some very stiff competition (respect all and fear none) and are excited to see where the rest of the season will take us. We're still focusing on some more MISCA cuts and State cuts for our swimmers and more regional qualifiers for our divers and now looking forward to scoring our relays at the state meet! We're in great shape and moving in the right direction! Keep up the good work girls!
