Drivers Needed!

In case you didn't get a chance to read to letter regarding this pop can drive, here's the gist of it. We still need parents who would be willing to drive groups of girls around different neighborhoods from 5:30-8:00PM on Monday. If you're available, please let me know ASAP!

On Monday, August 16 we will be conducting a pop can drive to help raise funds for our
team to lower the cost of team suits to you. Every girl must participate in this event, as
we stand to make a lot of money and really drop the price of our suits. We need parent
volunteers to drive along with the girls, so if you are available between 5:30 and 8:00PM, please let me know by email.

We are asking the girls to stay in groups of 3 or 4 and canvas neighborhoods close to
where they live. We encourage you to talk to your neighbors to inform them of the
impending descent onto their neighborhoods. If they want to contribute but won’t be
home, they can leave their cans in an inconspicuous spot for the girls to pick up. Please
consider donating your own cans to the cause as well.

A couple more things to note about the fundraiser:
Make sure to wear as much of your Grandville Swimming and Diving apparel as
possible.
To avoid any issues with stores, please try to go to different stores to return cans.
Athletes are not to enter anyone’s house! Please discuss safety issues with your
daughter before they leave.
