There are 8 annual $1,000 scholarships available to Michigan swimmers and divers through MISCA's Rick Edwards Memorial Scholarship. Rick Edwards was my high school swim coach (and an incredible one at that!). He lost his battle with cancer in 2009 but has truly left a lasting impact on all of his athletes and fellow coaches.
I would be honored to have the girls apply for this scholarship. Please pass this along to your senior daughters or even juniors who may be interested in applying next year.
