We Can Be (and Will Be) GREAT

Quad Meet
It was an exciting night on Tuesday with our meet against Byron Center, Hamilton, and Forest Hills Central. We saw some very promising things from the girls and we also saw areas of improvement (for both the athletes AND coaches). One highlight of the night was Lauren Wynalda achieving her State Cut in the 100 Fly, touching out her competitor in an incredible race.

Practices
We had some tough practices in the water this week! This is what we need to continue in order to compete at a higher level. We have SUCH potential to be an amazing team and the last thing we want to do is waste that opportunity. More fun and sweat to come!

Next Week
Meets
We have a meet on Tuesday against Ludington and Northview. It is a tri-meet hosted by Grandville that begins at 6pm. We have asked the girls to arrive at 4:30pm. We also have West Michigan Relays on Saturday, Sept. 10. More info to come on that.

Practices
PLEASE BE SURE to check the website (here) for practice times next week and the upcoming weeks. Times differ from day to day (based on water polo and other pool availability).

Morning Practice (A and B swim groups only)
The A and B practice groups begin morning practices next week. AM practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays (from 6am-7:15am). We allow the girls time to get ready for school.

Any questions or concerns, please direct them to Jenna and Keith at: grandvilleswimcoach@gmail.com Thank you!
